A family-owned winery located southeast of Bordeaux, Vignobles Gonfrier has stood out since 1830 for its deep expertise in wine production.

Rooted in the heart of the Premières Côtes de Bordeaux, the Gonfrier family nurtures a close connection with the Garonne Valley and its magnificent gravelly slopes, where the full diversity and richness of clay-limestone and gravel terroirs are expressed.

Winegrowers for nearly two centuries, the family now cultivates 1,400 hectares on the right bank of the Garonne and 50 hectares on the left bank. Deeply attached to its terroirs, it values the mosaic of soils and microclimates that shape the wines of the region.

Our expertise covers more than 900 hectares of family-owned vineyards, carefully tended on the hillsides overlooking the Garonne. Each plot is vinified separately to reveal its full potential. In addition, 550 hectares of grapes are sourced from trusted partner growers and vinified with the same precision in our dedicated winery in Rions, ensuring consistent and recognized quality.

Our wines, produced under the Bordeaux, Bordeaux Supérieur, Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux, and Graves appellations, range from fresh and elegant whites to generous, complex reds, as well as distinctive rosés and luscious sweet wines.

Committed since 2004 to sustainable viticulture, our estates are certified HVE3 (High Environmental Value), and we now cultivate 250 hectares certified Organic, farmed according to sustainable practices that respect both the land and biodiversity.

As part of our bottling and packaging operations, our facilities are FSSC 22000 (GFSI) certified, ensuring food safety and complete traceability of our wines from the cellar to the bottle.

Moreover, security and safety are core priorities in all our operations to ensure a smooth, reliable, and high-quality commercial activity. We are proud to have been AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certified in 2025, reinforcing the trust and efficiency of our international trade. Driven by a responsible and human vision, the Gonfrier family is also engaged in a CSR approach, evaluated by Ecovadis and SMETA, reflecting our social and environmental commitment.
