The Imperial Estate was created in 1850 by Napoléon’s nephew: Prince Pierre Napoléon Bonaparte on the western coast of Corsica . It is facing the Argentella Bay and the natural reserve of Scandola (Unesco heritage site).

It is the only vineyard estates in Corsica to benefit from the « Château » denomination.  Over a 200 hectares of land, 35 hectares of vines have been planted on different type of granitic soils after a thorough pedological analysis. The vineyards are made up of 42 plots. The ampelographic basis of the estate is composed of 13 different natives Corsican grapes among which Sciaccarello (Corsican Pinot Noir), Vermentino, Genovese, Codivarta, Rossola Brandica, Rimenese, Malvasia nera, Carcajolo Nero, Minustello, Murescono, Nielluccio (Corsican Sangiovese)…

All our wines are produced organically (AB certification) and our vines are grown biodynamically (Demeter certification). The maritime influence confers freshness and salinity to our wines. Harvest are hand made. We produced 8 cuvées: 3 White wines, 4 red wines and 1 rosé wine.
