For a long time, Nicolas, Sylvain and Philippe had been toying with the idea of creating a group of visionary winegrowers. Driven by a deep passion for terroirs and authentic wines, these three maverick winegrowers share a simple philosophy: Good Wines from Good Grapes. It is not just a question of offering a collection of wines, but of providing an effective solution that brings real added value to both winemakers and customers.

Millarges et Silex is the association of the terroirs of Domaine Grosbois in Chinon and Domaine des Hauts Baigneux in Azay le Rideau, which are at the origin of the creation of this new group.

Millarge et Silex is much more than just a collaboration. It is the fusion of two beautiful terroirs that Nicolas, Sylvain and Philippe have known all their lives. Together, they offer unique wine experiences and natural, accessible wines.

Millarge et Silex is now the key to discovering authentic wines from France's finest wine-growing regions, while benefiting from optimised logistics and centralised invoicing. This joint catalogue is not only a response to market expectations, but a real opportunity for every distributor.

Domaine Grosbois is located in the heart of the Vienne Valley. Deeply rooted in its terroir, the estate is distinguished by its Millarges soils, yellow sedimentary sands that were deposited in the Paris Basin forty million years ago, providing Cabernet Franc grapes with excellent ripeness. Thanks to biodynamic viticulture, the vines flourish and give the wines incomparable depth and complexity. Polyculture is practised with care as a pillar of the estate, integrating various complementary plants and crops that enrich biodiversity. In addition to vine cultivation, the estate also raises Black Angus cattle and Longué pigs, and grows market garden produce. With a strong commitment to social responsibility, Domaine Grosbois is actively involved in CSR initiatives and plays a dynamic role in preserving its environment and local area.

The Domaine des Hauts Baigneux is a gem located in the Indre Valley. Its rich, lively flinty clay soils impart remarkable salinity to the wines, giving them a distinctive signature. Rooted in a philosophy of respect for the land, the estate works biodynamically, favouring a harmonious and sustainable approach to viticulture. Polyculture is also important here, with Solognote sheep and fruit trees planted in the vineyards. With its strong social commitment, Domaine des Hauts Baigneux is a key player in its region, actively contributing to the well-being of its community through its CSR approach and helping to protect its natural environment.
